DREAM ON, BABY

When do we become adults? When do we let go of our dreams and accept our place in reality? What does it mean to be a young girl in a world increasingly demanding children simulate adults? We have researched these questions, which resulted in “Dream on, baby”, a performance in the borderland between child and adult, dreams and reality.

Choreographers Daniel Proietto & Alan Lucien Øyen belong to winter guests, a leading company within Norwegian dance art, receiving awards and glowing reviews all over the world.

ESC youth dance company is a Hordaland based company for youth between ages 14 and 18 with a talent for and interest in contemporary dance, requiring an advanced technical level and creative abilities. The company was founded by Camilla Skrede Johannessen, Monica Reksten and Cecilie Ravndal Nilsen and presented its first performance in 2008.

This performance is presented in collaboration with Den Norske Opera & Ballet and CODA Festival
